We are looking for someone who can help us keep our studio running smoothly by supporting us in various studio operations. This can be anything from liaising with customers, fielding incoming enquiries, assigning tasks for the team using our internal project management systems, or helping the team with whatever they need to stay focussed and efficient.
We are considering entry level or junior candidates for the role. This is a new position with Venn and we would like to find someone who can grow into the role, or who feels they have something to offer.
These tasks may adapt to candidates as we find out their particular strengths, but as a guide, the person in the role will be responsible for.
This is, essentially, a communications role, so we are looking for an excellent communicator.
While this is a new position for junior, we are always keeping our options open. If you are more experienced in keeping a busy creative studio running, and would like to work with us, we’d love to hear from you. We can’t promise anything, but send us your covering letter and CV, and if we like what we see we’ll be in touch.
Venn is a design agency that creates what a brand needs to excel. When creating brands, we consider the whole, and this means strategy, traditional design, digital design and building beautiful and highly functional sites for our clients, in house.
We are collaborative, we listen and we are open. We believe that you can be informal and professional, and are always working hard to create an environment that is fun, inclusive and relaxed. Working for us is becoming a part of a group of talented people; and from your first day you will be listened to, challenged and embraced as part of the team.
Applicants will be offered between £19k and £22k p/a depending on experience.
Venn is based in the beautiful seaside town of Falmouth. We are committed to creating a good work/life balance, a stable environment based around organic growth and favouring work/life balance over chasing profit. You will find that you will be working with a team that listens, learns and adapts to your needs.
We’re not listing all the other stuff we do, but like any friendly bunch, we go out for lunch occasionally, do fun activities and all that sort of stuff. As a small team we look out for each other; we’re currently trialling an online service that provides remote mental health support, for example.
On top of that offer the following benefits:
At present our team is working from home, and it would be preferable for you to have the facility to do the same until it is deemed entirely safe to return to office life. We will supply you with a computer to work on (Mac).
If you are unable to work from home we do have the facilities for you to come and work from our office in a safe, socially distanced environment.
After it is deemed safe to return to work, we would prefer it if you could come and work from our office in Falmouth, however we will consider remote working for exceptional candidates, or people who are unable to travel to work.
This job is part of the governments Kickstart programme, which provides opportunities for those whoa re currently out of work.

We will be reviewing applications as they come in, and may employ before the closing date, so don’t hang about.
No salary-commission agencies please. We may consider agencies if services are offered under a single, fixed, one-off fee.
