Story Juice, is a creative agency building immersive and interactive fictional storyworlds that deal in truth.
Founder Hannah wanted to evolve the business further – and shine a light on the incredible work and the diverse team who build these unique experiences.
As with most of our branding projects it all started with a Purpose Plan®, a process we have developed to dive deep into a business’ unique qualities and reason for being, presented in a simple, digestible way.
As well as giving Hannah insight, the Purpose Plan provided us with the groundwork we needed to create an identity that reflects the heart of Story Juice. starting with an evocative logo, which referenced the old identity, we also developed iconography which gave us the ability to create randomised narrative story maps to use across both digital and print mediums. The maps are made up of icons which reference Story Juice’s process and some of it’s previous projects.
We delivered a comprehensive asset set, brand guidelines, identity and customised Squarespace website.
We had such fun working with Venn and are absolutely stoked with the outcome that’s completely refreshed our visual identity but also helped us clarify our story so we can connect authentically with our audiences and clients across all our platforms. I’m now so proud of how our identity matches the quality of our work.
I was struck instantly by how creative process-focused Venn is, which is why I chose them. This approach enabled us to find an unexpected and exciting way to represent Story Juice through the invention of narrative maps and a new logo and icon that builds on our original but injects a magical and appropriately symbolic element. These creative outputs showed how much they got us after our initial conversations. They always listened, gave us options, were responsive and challenged us at the right times.
